I did own both GSW and BUD BUT I recognised that it wasnt the stock I thought I bought and so I cut both out quickly losing marginally on BUD ( sold at 30c now 18.5c) both stayed in the black on GSW. In my posts here, I have said that one does not always have to make money only on good stocks but it is important not to lose on stocks that appear to be good but turn out to be lemons. I also cited my Rent.com experience and Yowie as examples.
And of course I make many mistakes in my trading over the years- everyone does- posting the above tables doesnt suggest in any way that I am infallible.
More often than not, we get caught up in the exuberance and fail to look deeper into what managemenr does or question (as you can see in this post on performance shares).
