mate, garden hoses collapse and melt adding to the fire, that's if you have water
as the power is usually gone.
all available water will be sucked up by the tankers,
you will have next to no pressure.

get out of your armchair, join your local RFS,
stand in front of a wall of flame 30 metres high,
watch your water hose steaming from the heat
as the paint blisters on the firetruck,
and dont forget to tell your fellow brigade members
whose houses may in the direct line of the fire as
try to stem the front and contain the fire
that everything is okay - you've got a sprinkler on your roof !
flashover happens at 600 deg C, look it up ,
nah, dont bother, just keep squirting !
