Simple Lucky. If an argument tries to tell me 1+1 =50, it's wrong. Proven false. If there are fundamental flaws in an argument, as has been the case with every anti-climate science claim I've looked at, then they are false.
Take the denial claim that the global temperature record is doctored to make it show warming. Then look at the un-adjusted data record and see that shows global temperatures warming faster than the adjusted record. But watch the denial camp publish cherry picked records and try and claim the opposite.
Take Marohasy's claims about Rutherglen met station adjustments being false. And then see the photographic evidence of a site change that supported the adjustment.
Time and time again.
The denial claims are a nonsense. And they are making their false arguments more and more obtuse to try and keep their claims alive as their old, simplistic straw men are demolished by the facts. It's a charade of lies and deceptions, the same sort of vested interest misinformation campaign that the tobacco industry funded for decades.
