I don;t believe it is too extreme or un-reasoned to suggest you might as well be worried for an ISIS terrorist. Jopo's just as much besotted with his "belief" (his word, not mine - see further up the thread), but he's even more active than a terrorist. He's on here every day dropping irrational bombs. And his misinformation campaign is dangerous in a way that is not incomparable to terrorist religious activity. Forcible, repetitive presentation of false information with frequently abusive responses to anyone who argues otherwise and disagrees.

Take a complex subject like stratospheric water vapour, affected by a number of variables. Including ozone.
Over simplify that. Create a false straw man that stratospheric water vapour should depend only on CO2. Cherry pick your time period and post a bunch of charts - from sources he usually derides - and show it's not been cooling - but just since 2000. Ignore all other relevant data and facts.
Voila, the anti-scientist.
Bad enough. But this must be the fourth or fifth time he's run this line of BS.

This thread's coup de grace of jopo irrationality?
He posts a chart of long term
declining stratospheric temperatures, consistent with increasing CO2 emissions. It's visible that the cooling shown on that chart - in the embedded post above - accelerates (apart from the spikes of the two large volcanic eruptions), during 1980-1995. That's the period when ozone coverage was being depleted and contributing to stratospheric cooling.

Then from 2000, ozone starts recovering, after the Montreal Protocol decision to abandon ozone depleting CFCs. So the ozone recovery then began contributing to stratospheric warming. And offsets the CO2 cooling of the stratosphere.

Yet jopo posts his chart, which is consistent with scientific findings on CO2 and ozone, showing long term stratospheric cooling consistent with those two phenomena, and with CO2 cooling offset by warming as the ozone hole heals, since 2000; yet he shouts "the stratosphere is not cooling!".
Not only that but he describes tristanc as "naive and mischievous" for attempting to point out jopo's totally false "interpretation".
It's totally simplistic non-sense that jopo is posting. Yet arrogant and aggressive as well.

No matter how many times his flawed arguments are pointed out, he'll do it all again, denial BS argument after denial BS argument, day after day. On endless cycle and repeat.
Misled Dunning Kruger ignorance? Narcissistic, ideological blinkers? Paid climate denial trolling? Who knows.
