@carnabombers, I like the concept of debt to productive assets, but I would add $136m of IRU to our 'Productive assets', with PP&E that comes to $1.78b
@ROEROC, i think it would be a huge mistake to sell retail, there are synergies with enterprise through backhaul, and he industry is in the worst shape it has been in for a long time, lots to gain by keeping it.
Once NZ and Data Centers are gone debt shouldnt be a problem,. Long term we need to live within our means, make sure growth capex doesnt exceed cashflow.
Another potential big decision regard capex is the cable Vocus is designing for the government to PNG, its only required to be 2.5Tbps, there might be an opportunity to add some capacity for ourselves if we add another landing point. It could be a significant long term opportunity, but also a risks us getting too far ahead of ourselves with assets.
Also, a lot of these decisions aren't just for the CEO, the board would have to OK them as well.
