You know volume in shares trades, leads to more volume. Day traders and short term traders scan for this kind of trading volume.
Update previous to the Resource upgrade, state "resource upgrade soon"
So on the wednesday, volume was a lot higher, as many would of predicted a TH on the thursday. A common day for trading halt, as you can reopen on Monday.

So logic, and educated punting, led to a spike in volume on the day before the TH.
Also COBALT PRICE HAS BEEN GOING UP FOR WEEKS. SO more investors are looking for COBALT STOCKS

All this theroising, does nothing to the bottom line after the fact. However more than happy to discuss, as I do enjoy a good conspiracy theory.
