    methinks it's about time for the world to wake up to the fact that aside from pumping some oil from shallow ground in Texas or some horrid sandy place - that pretty much any sort of energy is very expensive to harvest and deliver


    Solar is a huge cost - if not in dollars - certainly in environmental damage - yeah, yeah, so is coal etc. - we all know that -


    but, we need energy - it's that simple.


    the sooner we get to work on something that is truly a good, solid, reliable, cheap, clean, sustainable source of energy the better --- oh, and NON weather dependent as well


    I find it difficult to believe just how many dollars have been spent on crap that is really against the philosophy and/or pragmatism of what people really want.


    All we seem to do is continually argue between solar power and coal - or nuclear - or similar


    who the hell is actually spending money and time on researching and finding something that will tick ALL the boxes?
