No thanks, I do have about $50k in natural resources fund though, which has done pretty well, but the reason isn't precious metals, it's industrial metals and it's liquid, which chunks of metal aren't.

You're missing the point, people need property to live in, they don't need pieces of gold or silver in the house waiting for an opportunist to steal.
