Thanks for the advice and history! Got the farm, plenty of wood to keep the toes warm, not much in the way of a veggie patch(to much hard work), couple slug guns, no overall prepping though, But the old saying asset rich cash poor v's rent of 30+ yrs is ok if you paid stuff all for the house in the first place, but in todays terms all is still in around the same ball park rent value v's home cost, not in all suburbs though, and with no cash in this day and age you may as well be poor unless you like debt.
But follow the big banks, JP's silver hoard is for a reason and time will tell, maybe to flood the market to suppress or prop the bank when all fails, but history does come around time and time again, banks will go broke, misery is on the rise, and hard times once again from over indebt world, but the wheels keep turning.
I'll take me chances and keep buying, maybe you should as well?
