Agree, the premiums can be a little discouraging at times but I do like the coins and some do have a good resale value on the private market if you have the patience to go down that route.
I suppose when you retire and need to flog off a few nice coins to a retail buyer for that provincial French cheese and wine appreciation adventure it would be nice , and tax free, the government cant get their grubby little hands on it.
