Always found it strange looking back at how volume was basically ignored in the rush of indicators that came out when computing made things so much easier. Yet Wyckoff and a few of the earlier ones who hand plotted relied on it and always included it.
The one volume indicator I do use is the MFI but eyeballing a chart is still sometimes the best approach.
