Yes mate I am sorry to appear so low key. If you’ve traded US markets for very long, you get the feeling there is a certain stability built in. That stability can fail on a serious headline and I think you are right to be wary under present circumstances. When I say the market appears controlled, I mean that it generally follows in a tight stair-step fashion with bounces at what appear to be predetermined levels.
As you imply, there appears to be a quid pro quo going on vis Syria. As of right now, aid groups and those within protected enclaves are quite fearful after hearing the president’s recent promise to withdraw soon. American SOC members are wondering what is going on. If things were to progress in that direction, innocent lives would no doubt be sacrificed at the altar of political power.
