Bless you mate. I suppose I should have written linguistic pragmatist instead; the idea being that we are to look more at context and source when determining what someone’s words truly mean. With the current leadership’s conflicting statements on trade and other things, it kind of makes you want to go back to when we could take at least some words at face value. Of course those who change their story every day really have nothing to fear and little respect for the universally appreciated meaning of common words.
