    Was watching closely last night and came to pretty much the same conclusions with the addition of some key support/resistance parameters as below:

    The most worrying part for me was the dismal failure to regain and hold support at 2680 that can be seen best on the hourly chart:

    I expect things to continue downwards near term but we haven't seen a lot of momentum behind this move as yet so like you I am a bit uncertain how far this will go. My concern is that there appears to be no short term catalysts that will swing things back in favour of the bulls. My other concern is the elephant in the room at the moment being rising Libor rates. People seem to be talking about it but nobody seems too focused on it despite the fact that it probably having a bigger influence on markets than whatever the US Fed are doing. Some more food for thought in any case, I am happy sitting on the sidelines for the moment with a little dabble here and there in the inverse ETF's.
