As promised, my report back after initial use.
Got to be honest and say i'm 50/50..was really hoping for more but feel a little let down.
Granted I didn't have time to run the firmware update as i was alerted to by other users on this forum (thought a simple instruction to update the firmware before first use could have been included with my order for others who do not have access to online forum?), and so i experienced the bluetooth connectivity issues that other have expressed. Expect that will be addressed once i've upgraded.
I wore them on my morning walk in Sydney which was cold and wet this morning. The most frustrating problem i experienced was that the light fabric of my (spray-jacket) hood would touch the ear-bud and turn my music off...this happened multiple times.
Secondly - maybe i haven't set them up correctly, but it seems to amplify the internal noise of my steps, so i could hear this constant 'thud, thud, thud' with each step...not sure if i can address this, i'll have to investigate further. Once i tried to move up to a run pace and the internal 'thud' sound, made the music horrible to listen too. I need to figure this part out - any tips?
I was very impressed with the music quality when stationary, and can already see the benefits of use for my hearing problem in loud social environments and am having fun fine-tuning my settings, but i'm not yet convinced if these are the right ear-buds for walking/running. Anyone else experienced these issues or am i just a complete tech kook?
