Yeah I’m sure they get paid too. How do you know they are not paid? Do you know how many work there now? Looked like they had at least 4 young employees at that store at the time, so add the owners - that’s 6, and they are still profitable? Young people need somewhere to work as a casual job, they all can’t just trade bitcoin between classes. I used to work at Dominos through study, pretty much whenever I could, and that did wonders for me. No regrets.

She said her mother just wants to help out. When some people are retired they have nothing to do. Speaking for myself, my folks get cabin fever at times and volunteer for anything that gets them out of the house or keeps them busy. They look after my nieces and newphew but they don’t get paid. Does that mean they are being exploited in the childcare industry?

She said they are a long standing successful business so there are, at least, SOME profitable ones out there doing well.

This is not to say that management are doing a great job over at RFG HQ. In fact, it’s terrible that they’ve not done more to help their franchisees that are struggling and to make it easier for new franchisees to start up.
