Totally agree about oil being strong. The world is in dreamland. You talk about oil and people think you are a leper. It is as if they believe they will be driving free electric cars within a few years. In the meantime the NZ Government has clamped down on oil drilling which is going to cost the country an absolute fortune.
Cut the coal first, then the oil and then the gas. The world has an imminent oil spike in front of it. Just not enough investment during the down cycle. Many analysts have warned us. And now it is happening.
I don't own BHP but I think oil and gas are going to soar. ( i nearly had a heart attack when media said there was a coup in Saudi Arabia ..turned out to be a toy drone...??? fake news. who knows. ) This Middle East is a powder keg.
