There are a number of possibilities for other announcements between now and June, apart from the Hoyo JV water project there are a range of other possibles in the water business, that is also apart, from further developments with Ionic.
Then there is a high chance of further offtake agreements, as I recall, it may have even been RF, who stated that CLQ want to have offtakes for all Co, Ni production signed off before the DFS release, behind the scenes there will certainly be serious ongoing negotiations with regard to more offtakes.
Then there is Scandium, there could also be developments on this front, .......it is simply a matter of time. And CLQ are ahead of the pack on the Sc scene too.
Sunrise financing is another area that is ripe for further progression and further announcements
As I alluded above (re the Sc), at this point CLQ have a clear jump on any other Co Ni Sc producers to the production stage (I will add, that I also hold a number of the competitors in the chasing pack), however I do not have the same confidence in any of my other Co, Ni companies that I feel with my investment in CLQ (I would be very happy to say that I did). CLQ now has a high degree of certainty inbuilt - it has come a long way from being a 4 cent company in 2014, when RF first got involved.
Whilst there has been some disquiet mentioned by some here re CLQ management, over the deferment of the DFS, I have high confidence that CLQ will deliver improved outcomes and project fundamentals; and of course they want to get it "right", from the very beginning. Laterite processing plants are challenging and the plant at at Sunrise will be the first laterite processing plant in the world to incorporate our "in-house" Clean-IX processing tech in the flowsheet, we are breaking new ground in this regard and, as I said, laterites are notoriously difficult to process. I am happy for them to get things right.
CLQ have been putting together a highly credentialled team to build and manage Sunrise and I believe that they will hit the ground running because they understand, as well as everybody here, that being first mover accrues big advantages.
An aside, but it is relevant. There has been many mentions here about SR and RF, there is a fellow named JZ on the board at CLQ also, it is well worth while checking out his resume not to mention connections.
