    We are not equal, the subject of human nature is a very interesting one but perhaps not the forum. I have some ideas on it but I wouldn't be so bold as to say I know what it is.

    I don't think it's possible to objectively measure a person's worth though, what is "better" an Engineer or a Painter? Surely the world is better for both and the most valuable thing is diversity.

    What we have instead is just ruthlessness/bland conformity. The pencil pushing beuracrats (managerial aristocracy) which claim to be the elite wouldn't survive long in the wild, instead they focus on claiming the glory from those of real worth in our society.

    Voting to fill the directors' trough again.

    I am on safer ground stating that the economy is a machine, we have stopped questioning its workings - I think the people who make up the machine should re-tune it so as to serve their interests.
