This is all about the shorts in my opinion....Looking at the aggregate shorts position, they were beating a retreat until (their buying back took) the share price above 7.00. At that point they must have decided it was getting frothy and began re-entering. A little bit of vacillation and then out comes the MS report which triggers them to pile in - up from 6.8% aggregate shorts to 9.8%. That is the share market.
Meanwhile TTC have happily stumped up 7.50 - that is the lithium market
Regardless of what the share price is saying, and regardless of what the MS report says, I think TTC will still feel that they got a good long term deal - they know what is happening in the Lithium market in a way that MS clearly do not. If it wasn't for the two year stand-still period I am guessing that TTC would be in there lapping up whatever they could get at these prices...
