It's terrible news for strike. These lobby groups are nationwide. When they finish on shutting down one project region the move onto the next. Simple as that.
In fact STX are bloody lucky that there is so much keen interest in offshore drilling in SA because the enviro lobby groups seem quite focused on that for the moment.
The current number 1 for environment/climate lobby groups is the carmichael coal mine / adani project. But they are seeing that as a won fight and starting to look for the next target and I have good information that the next target is gas. You might say "well that's crazy we have a pending gas crisis" but I can assure you that they don't care and are well funded.
Its a pretty big threat not to be underestimated!
