Today I read the RIO Tinto's big Aluminium smelter in Qld QAL has admitted to force majeure on contracts for Aluminium. The company ships to Russia and is part owned by Rusal which is a Russian company.
So I wonder how many other companies in Australia are being hit already and not reporting it.
Rio said that jobs were secure. Oh yeah and for how long??
Still the ASX seems to have broken free of reality lately despite some of the biggest companies SP falling such as the banks.
