Well I am not like you , as I am a long-term investor and not a trader.

I disagree with you that at this end of the market fundamentals do not mean much over the short or medium term. I believe that the poor incentive structures of AVZ and poor corporate governance serve to amplify sector specific and general market volatility.

I can see how for day traders AVZ's share price volatility is a gift of God, however, I much prefer a focus on timely delivery of operational milestones instead of short-term price targets.

While I welcome interest in the business from potential Chinese JV partners/investors, I prefer that such events are not overshadowed by ASX trading halts that lead to all sorts of speculation about insider trading, corporate strategy, hidden agendas, and worst of all "Easter Eggs", etc.
