Actually the best thing that could come out of this commission is that car yards have a conflict of interest in offering car finance and selling the car and separating the 2 outcomes so you have to go to a bank or mortgage broker for your car loan. If you step back from the drama of the RC, there is a kind of dodgy outcome in somebody selling you the car and the finance - who's interests are they serving in that transaction.
