Hi all.. not sure if I should say anything here....but yesterday my friend, knowing how excited and happy holder I was of a “donut” holding, (once upon a time) texted me to go and see the state of sp....ouch!!
I sold out few years ago, just after my local outlet of Michele shop closed down in my small shopping centre (the rent killed them)...and then few weeks later another Michele shop disappeared just 12 km down the road...the writing was on the wall....
I was very excited about the sp, dividends and growth story....but forward few years from there to here now, and personally I would never ever invested in a co like RFG....with growing obesity and DB2 globally, the science is in – sugar and cheap highly processed carbs are out...there is a quiet revolution going on (LCHF – low carbs and high fat) and more and more people and families are moving away from unhealthy, highly processed, cheap foods....they still may order the birthday cake, but buying the cheap sugary donuts is probably less appealing now then it was even 5 years ago....
I still like to invest in foods (chicken? A2 Milk..?) ...WATER?...water is everything and it is becoming a priceless commodity...any co having anything to do with water is worth looking into....I wish there was a separate forum here about investing in food producers and water....
