I hope the deal comes out as it will really be massive if it works but as someone who runs phase 3 trials I just hope investors are clear about the risks.
The reality is, and I am not sugar coating it or being biased, or being super negative, the fact is that the majority of phase 3 trials fail. Start-up companies are having to go it alone to do the phase 3 trials so they can be bought out.
To illustrate, Pfizer recently completely killed their neuroscience R&D after too many of their pipeline drugs failed in late stage trials
I wish you all the best, most importantly for the wonderful Rett and developmental disorders community. If this drug is a success you have every right to blow the trumpet and make some serious money.
I haven;t yet seen data that gets me excited though, but I cant wait to oneday see it.
The reason why I post here is a friend of mine came to me with some pretty hyped up statements about this company from some spruikers. I dont like people not being informed about risks and hyped up statements from investment spruikers. DYOR.

Neuro is a big space , Pfizer did close r/d but mainly in Alzheimer’s .... which has a 99.6% fail rate
Statistically speaking p3 are >50% strike rate in neuro so more likely to pass than fail .... so majority do not fail
57% actually
