Certainly it could be good for both parties, but it depends on the terms and we don't know them. So you can rah-rah-rah all you want if all you trust the management has correctly predicted the "long term" market (including the trade wars, the new blast of wind off shore, the surprisingly rapid adoption of EVs, etc.).
I have no problem with Amanda doing what was done. She is trying to stabilize cash flow, etc. Somewhat under duress. However, it's not worthy of pom-poms at every mention without knowing the terms.
