Just bought into this stock today and will be looking to add more shortly.
I know that this stock is infrastructure and highly geared, and supposedly any increase in interest rates is not good for this stock (presumably last night's interest rate rise in the US and the expected rate increase in Oz, is responsible for the recent SP decline).
However revenue up 10% on last financial year, and with traffic in Melbourne horrendous, which I can only see getting worse, I can't think of a much better investment than toll roads in Australia, particularly with our growing population. Not many companies on ASX (and most are not impacted by interest rates as much as TCL), can achieve that sort of revenue growth.
Perhaps my thinking is over simplistic, but its hard to see how Transurban shares are not a good long term investment at current prices.
