The majority of people in North Syria are non-Kurdish. There never was an agenda to establish a Kurdish state in North Syria. What the US was aiming for (before your lot ficked it up big time) was an Arab majority North Syria province that leveraged off the secularism of the Kurds. The paranoia your lot created has provided succour an support to extremists within the PKK and the US agenda has been derailed.
What have you achieved? In addition horrific stories of teenage girls now reportedly being raped and traded by your ISIS styled forces in Afrin I hear that the various Turkish aligned factions are blasting the sheete out of each other on several fronts.
My expectation is that Turkish occupied areas will be written off as a complete loss as other parties head for the discussion table.
As for Turkey itself ........ my personal view is that the occupied areas of Syria will become Turkey's Trojan horse. History does repeat itself continually in the region.
Your lot have also created a situation within which Iran will progressively aim to woo the Kurds away from the US and dethrone the Bazarni Clan. Turkey may aim to support Turkmen milita in Kirkuk but trust me ..... that agenda will fail.
Iran will likely work through the Baghdad Government to slowly squeeze your US enemies out of Iraq. I would not be surprised to see Iran become far more aggressive towards Turkey when the US eventually leaves. Iran ha provided direct support to the PKK previously and will likely do so again. Time is on Iran's side.
By all means laugh at my views. My aim has always been to see is to see the predominantly secular groups head for the discussion table. I would like to see the empowerment of actual Syrians along with an abandonment of the corrupt patronage systems and bastardised/ totalitarian versions of Islam. Unrealistic pipedreams they may be .... but we are each entitled to our views.
