Wasn't at all trying to raise assumptions, rather trying to start a discussion.
As per my previous post, I believe if we can crack 1,500 pre-orders that would a be good result with 2,500 being a great result. Based on previous announcements, 1,500 pre-orders shouldn't be out of reach.
Either way, we won't know quantity of units pre-ordered without an announcement from management. All we can do is make educated guesses.
