On Nabtrade? Not sure how the mechanics of shorting works on the Nabtrade platform because I don't do it. But even if you were shorting stocks, those short stocks would still show up in your holdings because you have borrowed them, so therefore you could sell them. But the same point would apply in that you would not be able to put in a sell order for stocks not in your holdings.
