Auscann is a new company that is not yet profitable. New/smaller companies take all their profits and reinvest in the company to grow. As the companies grow larger the price per share (pps) will grow as the market cap grows (market cap is value of company. If you divide the market cap by outstanding shares you have your share price)
Large Blue Chip stocks pay a dividend as their companies are established and the need to reinvest/grow isn’t as prevalent as a small company.
If you have a higher risk tolerance and a long investment timeline (going long) you can gain more on the small companies as their share prices go up (or lose more).
I hope this helps. Auscann I believe is a good company to invest in. Investapedia also has great info.
You can learn a lot by reading various threads. I’m in the US not Australia, so I only have 3 Australian stocks (all MJ)
You should never be embarrassed to learn, those that dismissed you should be embarrassed.
Good luck to you. If there’s a way to private message me, I’d be happy to help.
