Saw that, Froggy, and remembered my post.She did very well.
i had remembered another girl navy pilot when I made my post...... the first US female carrier pilot. She fought hard to get admitted, faced lots of opposition, and made it eventually, only to stack it on what I think was her first operational carrier landing. Sad.
Word at the time was :no more female carrier pilots.
