It frustrated GC at one point who wanted to make positive statements about the battery related progress when casting around for good news and couldn't.
This was at the AGM when it became clear that funding for the Diasource takeover was in trouble, the POC1 was not going to make money, and good news was thin on the ground. GC made a wry comment that Joe was being very very careful about the scope of the battery-related patents and it would be premature to make an announcement on the progress as a result. I mentally filed it away for future reference as that context was interesting.
