A nonsensical observation. Essentially there is no bottom limit of expenditure to "get to mining stage". Once permitting is in place all you need to do is start digging and you are mining. A poor analogy I know. But AUL has to come to terms with an unproven mill which will undoubtably require further expenditure to optimise its performance. Only time will tell whether my contention that GMA (WMC) left nothing worthwhile is correct. Those guys were amongst the best narrow vein miners/prospectors in the world.
