I thought that was quite obvious:
The product was developed nearly 100 years ago in Germany. That's why it can't be patented again.
For the same reason, you can't patent Aspirin or Paracetamol. Take the product, put a new spin on it, and sell it.
ZNO picked up the "recipe" and ran their own cooking show. All they need now is some good marketing and advertising. Hiring two marketeers seems to me is a step in the right direction. If those two are right for the job, they will know exactly what to do. ... OR ELSE ...
