I discovered recently that private health providers don't need to provide a better nurse to patient ratio. It seems that rich people are so clever at saving money they using private hospitals which don't provide a top service for the top money they charge, consequently some rich people might be dying sooner than perhaps they should.
Its disgraceful what i have recently discovered and i cant really see how this sector can continue offering a sublevel service for a top dollar price. If ACCC gets involved in examining the farce we call private hospitals then they not going to be in a good place to be able to continue except by increasing fees or be nationalised.
