They must be trying their best! I ran through the investor presentation from last week and the Management Team slide shows a new executive named Brett Murray who has an extensive and successful career and he is clearly a deal maker. I also looked as his profile on LinkedIn and he has exceptional oil development experience: and another new executive and petroleum engineer and Colorado School of Mines graduate named Dan Green who is obviously extremely well qualified and who will likely be handling the working over of the older wells. I would think that these gentlemen would be fairly aggressive in their due diligence and would make certain that the existing asset base has it's own merits. Further, the company has been in need of both an 'old hand' engineer and an "old hat" business development manager from the start, and in my consideration, both were the missing pieces to AOW. It is apparent that the company has become more focused.
The November announcement said they would close in December. I am hoping it gets over the line before the holidays. Cheers
