Hi Fact Finder,
I am not exactly a spring chicken myself.
Grumpy? Sometimes. Just ask my wife
I too have a SMSF.
Over the years I have learnt not to trust any governmental interference.
They love to bureaucratically stuff things up, at our expense.
That includes SMSF. Freedom to choose what I invest in is paramount.
Considering we now live in a much smaller world through the information highway, collaboration especially in the bio-tech sector between companies is the best way forward if we want to see major breakthroughs and improvements along the development stage. The vast sums of money and expertise required will mean experts have to travel globally in order to target their market.
Immuron is unique in that it is homegrown. The only way forward was to list it on the NASDAQ. I initially was unsure due to other companies that I have invested in have fallen flat on their faces once listed. The importance of the timing was critical and I believe they got it right. Immuron were ready for the world stage as they were nearing the completion of the Phase 2 Top Line Results. It nearly didn't work. What really caught the attention of the market was the Shigella Results from the US Defence Force.
Then of course the Top line results of Phase 2.
We are now on the radar which is all important moving into Phase 3.
Immuron could never have made it this far without collaboration.
Great having an OTC product that works, such as Travelin.
However, it would never have made it outside of Australia, without thinking and marketing the product on a Global scale. That takes a long time as we have already seen.
I am actually glad that we have a real investor/entrepreneur on our Board of Directors.
Maybe seen as a bit of a taskmaster at times, but knows what he wants and how to get things done.
That's what counts.
