Good post and your line "Of course having a bunch of bright academics on board does not guarantee future business success . Nor are they miracle workers" really made me think.
You see that same team of these bright academics have been steadfast with IMU since they got the IP from Vienna, not one person on the board or in top management has left except Dr Anton Uvarov.
It's just not normal for a team to stay so dedicated for so long to something like this
unless they really beleave in it. I'm sure they have seen and experianced enough empirical data and evidence to convince them of its authenticy enough so as to make these scientists say within their hearts "wow this is trully groundbreaking and I'am staying here to help make this happen and save a lot of lives".
so as far as I'm concerned that is a very good sign that the directors don't just come and go so just another reason that I see which points to me thinking "this is going to work!"

Dr Anotn Uvarov may well have left possably because of his connections to Forrest and to avoid complex disclosure issues (that is, if he was tcontinue to stay) as a director becin both companies IMU and Forrest Capital, this is because of the large share holdings in IMU by that are held personally by directors of Forrest, so if he stayed then insider trading rules might have started to get a bit complex for them.
Note it was Forrest who initiated the Imugene Vienna connection.
