Umm... you guys do realise that the northern tailings failed in Cadia, don't you? This isn't a "sentiment" dip, it's a response to production being halted for an indeterminate time at the company's most profitable asset, plus the fact that the extent and cost of remediation won't be known until the engineers have finished their investigation. This mishap will affect top line product and bottom line profits.

If the bounce comes, it will be nothing to do with stochastics or momentum or however many bottoms you've had or relative strength... it will be because the problem is less than feared, will cost little to remediate, can be fixed quickly, and production/profit will be largely unaffected.

If the news is bad then there will be no bounce regardless of how tightly stretched your rubber bands are...
