Off the top of my head I've come up with 10 possibilities, but there's possibly more. Here's my list and a link to an earlier post which is relevant to the subject.

1. Outright upfront acquisition of NEU
2. Structured acquisition of NEU (M & A with earn-outs) - substantial upfront is paid with further payments contingent on success in milestones such as Phase 3 success and/or FDA approval. Such a deal may also make provision for any Priority Review Voucher received. Over 80% of pharma acquisitions contain some type of earn-out. About 80% of earn-out payments are made within 1 to 3 years of closing of acquisition.
3. Substantial placement in NEU, funding provided for Phase 3 and option to buy out company or asset at later date.
4. Outright acquisition of trofinetide
5. Outright acquisition of trofinetide + R & D partnership and option on NNZ-2591
6. Global licensing of trofinetide in all indications – upfront +milestones + licence fees on sales
7. Global licensing of trofinetide in all indications + R & D partnership and option on NNZ-2591.
8. Global licensing of trofinetide in Rett Syndrome only, possibly with an option for other indications.
9. Territorial-based licensing of trofinetide in Rett syndrome and potentially other indications. For example, ex-US licensing of trofinetide while NEU keeps or licenses separately in US.
10. NEU sources funds and goes it alone….
