Can I ask the more experienced among us like Hottod, Sillaze and Shimmer for their thoughts on the following, in terms of not only your speculation but also your understanding of precious activity in this space.

As far as I see it there are really only the following options:

1. Takeover/complete sale
2. Partnership for the whole show - both drugs and all treatments both known and unknown as yet.
3. Partnership for individual drugs on the treatment basis above,
4. Partnership for individual drugs for specific treatments.
5. Go it alone and securing funding in due course through various means.

It’s options 2 and 3 (if they are in fact possible) that interest me the most and perhaps seem most plausible to me.

I know the extended patent for 2591 points to option 1 being most likely but I can’t help but wonder if the “delay” is in fact related to our determination to proceed with a partnership in limited treatments as per 3 above?

I understand that might not suit big pharma but it would certainly serve to well truly maximise shareholder value, whilst seeking to get to market ASAP for one condition, whilst they work on other conditions over time, as per a possible ‘extended’ partnership arrangement.

I could be completely on the wrong path with this but I wondered whether you thought this was possible/likely or in fact has happened before.
