Pointless for A2M to buy BAL as the point of difference is the absence of the A1 protein. BAL source their organic milk powder from Europe & therefore it is A1/A2.
Organic A2 products would require herd conversion of either protein type or organic practice or both.
The agreement with Fonterra could result in a number of new product offerings. Cheese & butter the obvious starting point. Cream, yogurt, casein, whey & it's derivatives could also offer opportunities.
