This HH lad will of course like what he sees, there hasnt been anyone that ive heard of who visited the area who was not impressed.
Economics and profitability are given. What is not known is just how much. Will it support a small mine or a huge one, what areas are priority etc etc. Novo are working on this.
Unfortunately for ARV it appears that Comet has more rich gold bearing layers meaning Purdys wont get much work done on it in the near term, perhaps a bit more work to confirm nothing has been missed in previous work.
I note this HH has already had the cooks tour with Quenton and is smiling if posts on CEO forums are anything to go by. But expected.
There is no doubt this kid is smart. Hes done a bit of in depth research and written a paper which Novo devotees who have invested heavily have bought in a quest to reinforce their decision on their financial commitment.
I havent read his paper, but chances are his conclusions based on scant information will miss the mark simply because the area is so underexplored conglomerate wise that extrapolating available information is risky. But thats not the point, hes having a holiday in the Pilbara subsidised by his research, and we are not.
And he has an audience atm because any new info is scarce.
Looks like that will change soon when Novo release results. Im betting interest in Novo will be reignited and the SP will rise perhaps substantially. Interesting to see how much flow on to ARV, DEG etc will happen.
