The reason is that with this knowledge exploration models can be honed up. With exploration models that work it means exploration can be accurately targeted. NVO would not want to give it's competitors an edge.

IMO NVO will be holding back from Purdy's simply to avoid having to spill the beans to ARV. This is where ARV is very interesting. They are doing a similar thing over their land and have the best in the business (CSIRO) on board. They are not waiting for NVO. Further they are aggressively advancing trial mining possibilities. Well in advance of NVO. DEG IMO will follow a similar trajectory but will tail coat NVO to a large extent.

ARV is going alone IMO and hence if they pull it off will have enormous potential. They also are unencumbered by the capital scene in WA and by other interested parties such as KLA, so provide a conduit to get in for other parties who are not involved with the other players.
