Yes - bit of a strange report with some questionable logic which is a shame as it could have been a useful research tool for people to get an overall picture of the Pilbara Conglomerate story - they sing the praises of the Novo JV held ground but apparently the same ground is worthless to ARV despite the fact that ARV are the JV partner.
Their section called "the Playbook" talks about needing deep pockets and says that only Novo have this, but when you actually stop and think about this; its a bit of a falsehood because by definifion whomever is the first mover will need deep pockets, because they are going to make mistakes and the science and sampling may lead to dead ends and changes in plans which are all wasteful of time and money resources, wheras the "nearology" plays whom are delayed and less well advanced can learn from Novo's mistakes and avoid making them.
The report also skims over the ownership of the Novo shares that ARV hold, despite them saying that Novo are the most advanced and credible of the Pilbara conglomerate players.
So according to their logic ARV should be discounted because they aren't masters of their own destiny within the Novo tenements, and call their other exploration activities questionable, despite the fact that the proposed ARV work at Patch 47 will be building on some of the key learnings from work already done at Purdy's Reward. Its almost like they haven't done the research that ARV do hold some other potential gold conglomerate ground that's not in the Novo JV. They do have a point about the proposed 3km deep hole, in my opinion it will add absolutely zero value to ARV.
Their research on MOY leaves a bit to be desired as well, and I imagine that there will be other knowledgeable posters on other threads like KAI picking holes in this report as well.
C- in my opinion could have been much better....
