I agree there is too much supply of housing in Perth it will take at least a few years to soak it all up. Plus they are continuously building new apartment blocks throughout the city. The other thing that fails to get mentioned about mining in WA is that a lot of the jobs are taken up by east coast workers who fly in and out of the mine site, not needing housing in Perth its self.
