Couldn’t find a technology thread for G1A so here it is. Apologies if there is already one there.
Has anyone heard of the Ecoult Ultra Battery ?
A CSIRO initiative back around 2008 that’s making inroads with new lead/carbon ultra capacitor technology.
No mention of discharge cycle life, but the white paper available on a few related websites seems to show that these batteries have multi times the life of a standard lead acid battery and one would think would compete well with Li ion for storage solutions.
Perhaps Pb batteries arnt dead just yet.
