I don't think that's the case.
The current situation is like this: GK have been selling online, and selling online didn't need approval and still doesn't need approval, so they will be able to sell online as long as there's no change to the regulations.
For selling in supermarkets and stores. GK have stocks which were shipped to China before 01/01/2018, those stocks can be sold in supermarkets. Approximately those stocks have expiration date around July, which is perfect because we're expecting the approval in July-September. I guess the managers had a plan all along. GK currently can't put products which are shipped to China after 01/01/2018 in supermarkets.
